The Festival as a competitive exhibition
A festival refers to an event series with mostly artistically motivated individual events, which are usually connected by a thematic or formal pattern and take place over the course of several days.
Festivals are often characterised by competitions that include a competitive exhibition corresponding to the respective subject – just think of the various film and theatre festivals. This makes festivals interesting as an event form for companies too.
New input and solutions

In a pleasant atmosphere, interested people may share their specialist knowledge with other persons, get new input for themselves and establish new thematic approaches or suggested solutions. The condensed offer on a certain subject is in the spotlight of a festival. Accordingly, spontaneous reactions from the audience and different perspectives of the participants in discussions can be inspiring for all parties.
Committed community
Even a symposium can be held in the form of a festival, where for example each participant makes own contributions to the event. In any case, from the participants’ point of view the objective is always to exchange ideas with others. As a consequence, visitors usually have a positive view of this form of event. For the organiser, however, the obligation arises to deal with the relevant festival subject in a very correct manner and not to wander from the subject in any case, because interested visitors are particularly critical visitors.
You should therefore involve the audience. How this can be done best we will be happy to explain to you in a personal discussion.
