Perfect Start for your Event
ImageThe aperitif is an appetizing and mostly alcoholic drink to be enjoyed in advance of the meal. In France and Italy the aperitif is a must for a perfect lunch or dinner. In Austria that tradition is slowly accepted as well.

At events the aperitif will shorten the waiting time for guests till lunch/dinner is served. Perfect aperitifs are some spirits, Southern wines, sparkling wines, flavoured wines, half a pint and some short drinks.

Trends

There are either regional preferences or trends. In the South of France Pastis is the traditional aperitif; in Burgundy it’s Kir. Some years ago Sherry was trendy. Today nearly every not too high-proof drink can be chosen as aperitif. That can also be a fruity punch. Soft aperitif drinks are for example spicy tomato juice or fresh grapefruit juice.

Cocktails in Corporate Colours

ImagePre-dinner cocktails in corporate colours are a special event highlight, an exclusive eye catcher as well as tasting experience. The cocktails are specially created and named for the respective event.

In the last months also rosé wines are in demand for aperitif. By the way: rosé wine was the favourite wine of Ludwig XIV. Rosé is ideal for Asia-, Thai-, and Indian buffets. A perfect alternative is alcohol-free sparkling wine, an excellent product with a fruity bouquet and pleasant, balanced harmony. Further a fine sparkling and long lasting mousseux are typical for that aperitif. It is served in a sparkling wine glass together with rose petals.
